Russell Bedsole, M.D., M.A.

Program Director, Inpatient & Outpatient Medicine

Dr. Bedsole was born in Elba, Alabama and is a graduate of Samford University where he acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Religion with a Minor in Biology. He completed his medical training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. His residency training was at the University of Cincinnati, where he also held the role of Chief Resident. He later procured a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University.

He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and has served on a national committee under the rubric of the American Board of Internal Medicine. When Dr. Bedsole is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, World War II History and golf. He has also been serving as a Major in the US Army Reserves since 2020.
