Imran Khalil, M.D., Ph.D.

Core Faculty & Subspecialty Education Coordinator, Cardiovascular Medicine & Medical Informatics

Dr. Khalil was born in Damascus, Syria and is a graduate of Damascus University where he acquired a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering. He completed his medical training at Yale University. His residency training was at Yale New Haven Hospital, he then completed his fellowship at University of Vermont in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and Mass General/ Harvard in structural cardiology.

He is an active fellow member with the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and American College of Physicians. When Dr. Khalil is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, bowling, soccer and watching movies.
